10-Point Precision Heating Tune-Up

A tune-up will be performed once during the service agreement term during regular working hours. Please call to schedule. The tune-up will include the following:

  • 1. Clean heating unit, flue pipe and chimney base.
  • 2. Lubricate all motors, bearings, fans and circulators.
  • 3. Clean and adjust electrodes and nozzle assembly.
  • 4. Test and adjust all safety and operating controls.
  • 5. Inspect flue pipe, barometric damper and combustion chamber.
  • 6. Test oil pump operation.
  • 7. Replace oil nozzle, strainer and oil filter at no charge.
  • 8. Examine all belts, pulleys, strainers and couplings.
  • 9. Adjust burner for peak efficiency.
  • 10. Inform customer of equipment condition.

15-Point Precision Cooling Tune-Up

A tune-up will be performed once during the service agreement term during regular working hours. Please call to schedule. The tune-up will include the following:

  • 1. Lubricate all moving parts, such as blower motor and condenser fan.
  • 2. Check suction line temperature and pressure.
  • 3. Evaluate condition of air filters. Clean or replace with standard one-inch filters.
  • 4. Test temperature drop between return and supply air.
  • 5. Flush condensate drain to protect against overflow.
  • 6. Clean outdoor condenser coil.
  • 7. Check blower motor (and belt if applicable).
  • 8. Adjust blower speed.
  • 9. Safety test all controls for proper operation.
  • 10. Meter voltage and amperage in all motors. Test for worn bearings.
  • 11. Test operation and condition of compressor contacts.
  • 12. Inspect start and run capacitors and relays for bulges, rest and leaks.
  • 13. Tighten and safety test all wires and connections.
  • 14. Clean and adjust thermostat/mercury bulb.
  • 15. Inform customer of equipment condition. Recommend necessary repairs.
