What Is Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel Fuel?

Ultra Low-sulfur diesel fuel will begin replacing conventional diesel starting in 2006. The new fuel will contain 97% less sulfur than conventional diesel—sulfur will be reduced from 500 parts per million (ppm) to 15 ppm.

Ultra Low-sulfur diesel fuel is cleaner-burning, producing less particulate emissions in both older and new engines.

It will also allow the use of improved exhaust treatment devices to reduce emissions of particulates and smog-forming nitrogen oxides (NOx). These devices can be "poisoned" by the sulfur in conventional diesel fuel

Prevents Fuel Filter Plugging Down to as Low as -5 Degrees Fahrenheit

Our All Season Premium Diesel Fuel is custom blended using Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel No. 2, state-of-the-art chemical additive, and where necessary, kerosene. This unique diesel-blend maximizes cold weather performance and insures that fuel filter plugging due to wax build-up will not occur during severe winter temperatures. In fact, the minimum operability temperature of our premium fuel is minus 5.0 degrees Fahrenheit.

Reduces or Eliminates The Need for Costly Kerosene Blending

You don't have to worry about finding, blending and paying for costly kerosene. Our premium diesel fuel provides winter operation equivalent to blended fuel with as much as 55% kerosene.

Our All Season Premium Diesel Fuel enhances the lubrication characteristics of diesel fuel, resulting in reduced wear on engine parts.
